About Me

Asha Ashley is a freelance writer with a passion for storytelling. An Alabama native, Asha graduated with a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Troy University while working as a barista at Starbucks. She landed her first writing job at a local city newsletter where she honed her craft before going into the corporate world. While corporate life gives her the “stability” she needs, she looks forward to the “escape” of a great adventure through reading and storytelling. Currently, she is working on two projects – (non-fiction) a memoir for a Vietnam Veteran and (fiction) an adventure fantasy with strong, diverse leads.

When she is not working, she is probably staring off into the middle distance while drinking a cup of coffee… More than likely, her off-time is consumed with the newest project she is obsessing over.

She is married to John and they have two beautiful sons – John, III and Roman. They are her world and she strives to teach them that they can be whatever, whoever they want to be. For more information, please check out “Interview with the Author.”
